I moved to Minnesota over 20 years ago to attend William Mitchell College of Law. I chose William Mitchell because I was a single parent and their part-time program allowed me to spend time with my kids while working towards my degree. When a person graduates from law school, they are qualified to practice in all areas of law. I enjoy being a general practitioner. I gain more experience, and get more time in the courtroom.
I offer personalized representation, no paralegals or assistants, and I offer a free 30-minute consultation. So, buy a cup of coffee and stop by my office. We can talk, and if I can’t help you, I will find someone who will.
I like helping people and considered being a social worker, but being a lawyer allows me to help people in so many different areas of their lives. When people are struggling with money and creditors, I can help with debt negotiation or bankruptcy. I can help when someone has an aging parent and is concerned about a will or health care directive. If there are memory issues, I am happy to explain conservatorships and guardianships. I also know about broken hearts, I’ve been there. I help people work through the emotions and mechanics of a divorce. I also help people who charged with crimes. Anything from speeding tickets, hunting violations, and large tickets to assault and drug possession.
It’s rewarding when someone with a criminal history is able to make positive changes because I can help them get an expungement, which seals their criminal history. This allows for a better job, licensing in their profession, or better housing. Last but not least, I am everything pets. I love animals and have helped people with dangerous dog tickets, pet shop rip-offs, bad breeders, emotional support certification, and ADA service dog questions. I know the airlines’ policies about flying with animals and property insurance issues with certain breeds of dogs.

When I am not in the office, you can find me and my dog, Myshka at the Minneapolis International Airport visiting with passengers. We are one of many teams volunteering for the MSP Airport Foundation Dog Ambassador Program. Myshka is a therapy dog certified through Pet Partners. If you have an event and would like us to visit, please contact me. We love to meet new people. Get social with us at instagram.com/myshkas.musings.
